Scheed Cole is no stranger to media coverage. The 2017 Jamaica Energy Global national awardee is known as the man at the helm of 360 Recycle, an entity that turns “trash into treasure”.

Scheed Cole used waste and an artist’s eye to develop the next breakthrough in green construction.

Residents of some low-income communities in the Corporate Area are benefiting from the ingenuity of Scheed Cole, whose recycling business employs more than 20 of them in transforming waste material into sculptures and other products.

Environmentally focused social enterprise, 360 Recycle Jamaica has donated four recycling bins to Kingston Creative, as part as an initiative to collect and recycle plastic waste material.

At age 8, he was diagnosed with dyslexia, a reading disorder characterised by trouble with reading despite normal intelligence.
